Cylinder magnet, also referred as Neodymium rod magnet are long and circular magnets where the length is equal to or exceeds that of the diameter.
The higher L/D ratio (length to diameter) allows the axially magnetized Neodymium Cylinder Magnets to have higher gauss rating, making it intrinsic to applications such as hall effect sensor and reed switch. Furthermore, Neodymium Cylinder Magnet with higher L/D ratio generates stronger pull force from the relatively small magnetic surface area through recessing while maintaining temperature stability. Additional holding applications include magnetic bead separation rack, magnetic tool holders and e.t.c. Our advanced method of three layers coating (NI-CU-NI) also gives the magnets good look and good resistance to rust.
